The U.S. Census Bureau data confirms that Waller County is experiencing significant population growth, which is impacting the school district's capacity. In just one year, the student enrollment has increased from 9,894 in August 2025 to 11,467 in August 2026. Waller ISD Chief Communications Officer, Sarah Marcus, acknowledges the challenge, stating that processing applications is a time-consuming and unique process.
